Taiwan: fresh vitality to the global health
Taiwan, located at the nexus of Northeast and Southeast Asia, is the eighteenth largest economy, is full of vitality and has a strong humanitarian spirit of generosity. As a member of the international community, Taiwan has accumulated a wealth of successful experiences and has had great advantages in areas such as national health insurance, health technology and the prevention and control of epidemics. The World Health Organization, under United Nations chose the "national health insurance" as the theme for International Health Report 2010, which indicates the importance of global public health community has recently joined to establish a health insurance system is well developed.
